The following courses are offered at the AGP Unit:
“Advanced Functional Genomics Technologies in AFNS (AFNS 575)”
Modules offered include gel electrophoresis, DNA and RNA isolation, cDNA cloning, gene amplification, library screening and sequencing, quantitative real-time PCR for gene expression, microarrays for gene expression, and next generation sequencing.
“Lab Skillz 101”
An informal course covering the basics of laboratory techniques, including making solutions, using standard curves, operating basic laboratory equipment, and pipetting. Mandatory for all AFNS graduate students.
